Effective Communication is the proper exchange of thought, messages, beliefs, feeling, goals, values, facts or information. The keyword is exchange. Effective Communication is not texting on your telephone. The quality of the message plus the quality of the delivery minus any interference equals the effectiveness of communication. You can control what you say, how you say it, how you look, and how you act in situations of communication. Effective Communication is a contact sport!
