The New Year is Underway

The New Year is underway.  Many are energized by this and others are bored.  More than 360 days face us with many answers to all of our questions. As the tick tock of the clock unwinds, we will begin to see most of the things identifying our lives last year are back and facing us again. The same struggles and challenges are present. Most people are in a RUT – experiencing the same existence of living without a significant relationship with Jesus Christ.

During the last few weeks of 2018 and the first days of 2019, I have been teaching, coaching and training on “2019 The Year of Great Productivity and Abundance”. We have been presenting the process on our radio program. We are making lists. We are examining our hopes, dreams, opportunities and challenges. I suggest we plan our work and work our plan based on the lives of successful people. I have completed my plan for 2019 and after using diligent attention, profound thinking and pursuit of a higher calling, I share part of my list with attainable and wholesome goals for my life. I have selected my guide to be 2nd Peter 1:5-8):

  • Be diligent in all things
  • Be strong in non-wavering faith
  • Be known for uncompromising moral excellence
  • Be a life learner and enlarge knowledge
  • Be moderate without extremism
  • Be persistent
  • Be godly without hypocrisy
  • Be tactful and gracious treating all well
  • Be loving, letting love flow
